Friends Of Upland Animal Shelter

Please note: It is recommended that you call in advance to ensure the Shelter is open. There may be times when the Shelter is closed during normal operating hours due to animal related emergencies.

Friends of Upland Animal Shelter is the group of volunteers who are committed to supporting the shelter with time, talent and fund-raising activities. During the past several years, these volunteers have created positive relationships with shelter staff and have spent thousands of hours assisting at the shelter or at off-site events.

In August of 2011, the Friends was recognized as a member organization of the Upland Community Foundation. On May 2nd. 2016, Friends become responsibe for animal care & adoption services.

Western University

Western University's Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program has formed a partnership with the City of Upland that allows students to gain hands-on experience working with animals at the Upland Animal Services facility.
