This Week's Notable News Highlights:
- Police Department- On July 13, officers responded to a residence regarding a report that an elderly male had pointed and threatened his wife with a firearm. While at the residence, officers located and seized 5 firearms - (2) pistols, (2) shotguns, (1) rifle. One of the shotguns was a sawed-off shotgun. The male was served with a Gun Violence Restraining Order.
- Recreation and Community Services- After a short break due to the 4th of July holiday, Moonlight & Music returned last Thursday, celebrating our 3rd Annual Dog Days of Summer and Parks Make Life Better with a complimentary ice cream social for pups and their “paw-rents”! Pups had a blast enjoying the splash pad, creating masterpieces at the Peanut Butter Picasso art station, bobbing for apples, participating in fun activities throughout the park, and tickling their tastebuds with two flavors of pup ice cream.
