Captain Teague
Lon Teague started his career with the Upland Police Department in January 1993 as a Police Explorer. In December of 1993, he was hired as a Police Cadet. Lon was hired as a Police Officer on July 1st, 1996.
His special assignments included: Upland/Ontario Narcotics Task Force Officer, Field Training Officer, SWAT, and Crime Impact.
Lon was promoted to Detective in 2014 and promoted to Sergeant in August of 2018. As a Sergeant, he helped restart the Upland Police Department’s SWAT Team, served as a patrol supervisor, and supervised the Special Investigations Unit, Impact Team, and the -K9 program.
He was promoted to Lieutenant in July of 2022. He is currently the Patrol Operations Commander which includes Patrol, Traffic, and Communications. He is also the SWAT/Crisis Negotiation Team Commander.
