Ready Upland Helps Upland Residents Be Prepared
People who live, work and do business in Upland can find all they need to be better prepared here. ReadyUpland is a way for the city to reach out and provide education and resources so the whole community can do their part to make Upland a secure and resilient city.
Anyone who wants to be better prepared can do three things
- First, Be Informed! Know how public officials will alert you during an emergency and sign up for that service. Learn what threats and hazards you face in your community and prepare.
- Second, Plan Ahead! Develop a plan for your family or business. Consider how will you communicate, evacuate and re-unify during a disaster. Take into account any specific needs you or those in your family may have. Develop a kit for yourself and those in your home or business.
- Third, Take Action! Use the knowledge you have gained to encourage others to prepare.
