What are Benchmarks and Centerline Ties?
Benchmarks and centerline ties provide survey reference information used by engineers, surveyors, developers, and contractors to establish accurate locations and elevations when preparing plans or performing work within the City. Benchmarks identify established elevation reference points, while centerline ties provide measurements that help locate and re-establish roadway centerlines and other points of reference.
Centerline tie records are available below and at the Development Services Department – Land Development & Transportation Division counter at City Hall.
