Imagine everything is black, white, and an eerie gray that haunts your night. Let’s dance the night away to classic horror movie fun. The night will be a scream. Admission fee includes a delicious meal complete with dessert and beverages, entertainment, and door prize drawings.  Menu: Meatball Sandwich, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, TLC Salad, Rolls, and Brownies. Includes coffee, iced tea, and lemonade.  Tickets available now.   Pre-registration is required.

Day of the Dead celebrates the life and love of our dearly departed. By popular request, the Gibson Senior Center will feature a Community Display in the lobby. Email a digital photo of your loved ones, include their name to ErRodriguez@uplandca.gov or bring a photo to be scanned. The submission deadline is Wednesday, October 23.  Display will be available for viewing beginning on Monday, October 28 with a special presentation of the movie “The Book of Life” at 3PM in the lobby with delicious pan dulce [sweet pastries] and warm beverages.

Get ready for a Howling good time with an afternoon of mocktails and karaoke. Show your Halloween Spirit with a special costume contest. Featured mocktail: Sangria!  Today you can bring your doggie friend for a costume contest in the breezeway. Prizes awarded in the Best Duo, Most Creative, and Look-Alike categories.  You can sing, bring an instrument to play, or just request your favorite song for the entire group to sing along. Singing is not required, just be prepared for a good time. A photo opportunity station will be available to always remember the day.

Menu: Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Stuffing, Corn, Cranberry Sauce, TLC Salad, Rolls, and Pumpkin Pie. Includes coffee, iced tea, and lemonade.  A special thanks to the Upland-Foothill Kiwanis for preparing the delicious meal.   Ticket sales available October 16.  Pre-registration is required.
