Black history month is a time of rejoicing, celebrating, and recognizing significant black history figures who have been memorialized in United Stated history for giving hope for generations to come.  An Exhibit Walkthrough has been created to raise awareness of the historical impact of the achievements and accomplishments made by African Americans.

Send a little love someone’s way with a special message. Valentine’s Day Grams are handcrafted with lots of love by YOU!  Enjoy a movie at our newly remodeled lobby while you create a uniquely beautiful gram. Grab n’ Go kits are also available for you to enjoy at home.  Supplies are included in your grams will be available beginning Monday, February 10 at the Gibson Senior Center. Ticket sales begin Monday, January 6.  Quantities limited.

Tonight, we will celebrate and recognize the culinary, artistic, and musical achievements of our African American community.  Admission fee includes meal, entertainment, and door prize drawings.  Menu: Fried Chicken, Green, Macaroni & Cheese, Corn Bread, TLC Salad, and Sweet Potato Pie. Includes coffee, iced tea, and lemonade.  Pre-registration required.  Tickets on sale Monday, January 13.

Let's celebrate love and friendship. Special guest Danny Rodriguez will delight you with his guitar. You can sing, or just request your favorite song for the entire group to sing-along. Singing is not required, just be prepared for a good time. A special Valentines Day photo opportunity station will be available to always remember the day, just remember to bring your camera to capture the moment. Bring your friends or special someone to enjoy an afternoon of love, laughter, and live music.  Featured mocktail: Sweet Kiss and Cape Cod!
