Park Ranger

Our Park Rangers are dedicated to maintaining the safety and well-being of our community members while ensuring that our parks remain welcoming and enjoyable spaces for everyone.

The Park Rangers are responsible for patrolling the various parks throughout the city, where they actively monitor and address any issues that may arise. Park Rangers conduct enforcement for various municipal code violations. They serve as a vital resource in providing solutions to community problems within the parks, ensuring that these spaces remain safe and accessible for all visitors.

In addition to their general patrol duties, the Park Rangers also focus on offering assistance to homeless individuals. They work diligently to connect those in need with resources for substance abuse treatment and mental health services, providing a compassionate approach to helping some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Moreover, the Park Rangers conduct parking enforcement across the parks, ensuring that parking regulations are followed to maintain order and accessibility for all park users. Their primary focus is on the safety and enjoyment of everyone who visits our parks.
The dedication and efforts of the Park Rangers are instrumental in preserving the quality of life in Upland's parks, making them safer and more pleasant for everyone.
