Solar Installation Contractors are now able to apply for solar permits online with the help of SolarAPP , a web-based portal for residential solar energy system installations.  SolarAPP is designed to provide a code-compliance check for most residential roof-mounted photovoltaic systems.  Contractors must be registered with SolarAPP to qualify for the automated review.  Or applicants can submit directly to City’s PORTAL.

NOTE: SINGLE FAMILY AND DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS FOR PV INSTALLS UNDER 10KW AND FOR WHICH NO ESS/BATTERY IS PROPOSED ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE THROUGH SOLARAPP .  ALL OTHE PROJECTS NEED TO BE SUBMTTED THROUGH THE CITY’S PORTAL.
