The Upland Recreation and Community Services Division is committed to creating community through people, parks, and programs. Our purpose is to provide recreational programs and community services which enrich the quality of life for Upland residents by promoting health, wellness and human development; and to maintain first rate parks and recreational facilities thus enhancing the desirability of the City as a place to live and strengthen community image.   It is the goal of the Division to provide leisure opportunities that contribute to Upland's quality of life.  We invite you to take advantage of its programs, services, and facilities.

The Upland Recreation and Community Services Division Office is temporarily located at the Upland City Yard, 1370 N. Benson Avenue, Upland.   Although our location has temporarily changed, our exceptional services and activities will remain the same.  Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  The Upland Recreation and Community Services Division will be closed on the following days/dates:

2019 Summer Upland Today News Magazine & Recreation Guide:
The Upland Today News Magazine and Recreation Guide is published quarterly by the City of Upland to inform residents of community news, recreation activities, and cultural events.  To view the contents of the brochure, please click the brochure.


GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION: 

Open enrollment will be in effect for all classes and activities throughout each quarter.  All registration is first-come, first-serve.  Classes may fill prior to the first meeting or may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met.  Therefore, pre-registration is vital.

Potential customers who have a disability are invited to contact the Upland Recreation and Community Services Division to discuss any special accommodations, which are necessary for participation in our programs.  Requests need to be made a minimum of 30 days prior for trips and 14 days prior for all other activities by contacting the Upland Recreation and Community Services Division at (909) 931-4280 during normal business hours.

Fees:
While every attempt is made to adhere to the dates, times and locations listed online and in our Upland Today brochure, all classes are subject to change and cancellation.

Photo Release:
By participating in our programs, you are giving permission to the City of Upland to photograph you or your child(ren) for use in any future City publication and you or your child(ren) will not receive compensation for such use.

Prorates, Refunds and Make-Ups:

  • No fees are prorated.
  • No make-ups for issued classes unless class is not held due to fault of the instructor or the Upland Recreation and Community Services Division.
  • Refunds must be requested prior to the second class.
  • A partial refund will be given for refunds requested prior to the second class.  After the second class, no refunds will be given under any circumstances. 

Trips & Tours:
All trips and tours will leave from Magnolia Park located at 651 W. 15th Street.  Please arrive no later than 15-20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
