Kids' Night Out: Kids In The Kitchen

Calling all little chefs! "Kids In The Kitchen" is a hands-on, exciting cooking event where kids will get to make their own delicious dinner while learning basic cooking skills and safety tips in the kitchen. From fun food prep to tasty creations, the evening promises an adventure in cooking! The evening will also include games, crafts, and movie. Parents, enjoy a night out while knowing your child is in good hands with our friendly, trained Recreation staff. Spots are limited, so register early – this fun-filled opportunity fills up fast! Get ready for an evening full of fun, food, and entertainment for the whole family—you won’t want to miss it! The excitement begins at 5:00 p.m. with our annual Kids' Swap Meet, where you can shop for one-of-a-kind treasures until 8:00 p.m. Enjoy live performances and demonstrations by Contract Instructors Maria Alvarez and Miss V, along with their talented students. Then, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., catch a live performance by Mechanical Melody, a teen cover band that’s been rocking Southern California since 2022. All evening long, kids can bounce around in our themed bounce house, explore their creativity with crafts and activities, and enjoy face painting provided by First Presbyterian Church, Upland. Then at 8:30 p.m., gather under the stars for a special screening of Moana 2—a heartwarming, family-friendly movie to wrap up a magical night.
