Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:15 a.m. in the Reading Room. Ages 12 months to 5 years.
Come join Miss Christina for an enriching, sensory based storytime that incorporates American Sign Language to boost developing minds and encourages sensitivity to the needs of others. Our Family Storytime general content includes stories, crafts and enrichment that those ages 12-35 months might find tricky on their own, so they will need additional caregiver supervision to be able to participate to their best ability.
Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. in the Reading Room. Ages 0-24 months.
Follow Ms. Keke into the wonderful world of Wonderful Ones! Little ones will be encouraged to sing and learn rhymes in this music based storytime. Also featuring classic felt board stories, bubbles and colorful scarf games for sensory development, this lap sit storytime is perfect for babies and young toddlers.
Every First and Third Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Reading Room. All ages, children under 6 need adult supervision.
An interactive craft hour, kids can come and make a variety of fun sensory and paper crafts with Miss Heather! With an overload of fun supplies, kids can make a pre-set craft or use their skills and creativity to come up with their own masterpiece.
Sense N’ Play
Held every 1st and 3rd Monday at 11:15am in the Reading Room. Ages 12 months to 6 years.
Does your toddler love to explore the world around them? Join us for our first ever sensory based playtime in the Children's Reading Room! We’ll be playing with Play-Doh, kinetic sand, blocks, chalkboard markers and more. Come in and explore the world through your senses! No registration is required.
Tween Game Day
Held every second and fourth Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Reading Room. Ages 7-12.
Join us every second and fourth Thursday of the month for our brand new Tween Game Day! We’ll be getting competitive with Super Smash Bro’s on the Wii-U, taking a breather and adventuring far and wide with our new Nintendo Switch on Zelda: Breath of The Wild, plus we’ll be sitting down and hanging out with all kinds of new and fun board games! It’s a perfect way to wind down after school and have fun.
