Description
A front facing gabled roof with overhanging eaves and exposed rafters covers this very simple, one-story Craftsman bungalow. The face of the gable is filled with vertical boards while the rest of the bungalow is sheathed in clapboard. A screened porch spans the facade. The fenestration inside the porch appears to be original. Sitting on a cobblestone foundation, the bungalow is in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: Formerly part of the property associated with 696 E. Ninth Street, this parcel was split off in 1923. A $210 improvement was assessed to Ferris and Ina Steiner in that year.
