Description
This one-story Colonial duplex is completely symmetrical in design. The duplex sits on a brick foundation and is sheathed in clapboarding. The gabled roof has slightly extended eaves with exposed rafters and runs parallel with the street. Tuscan columns carry a small front gable to define an entrance portico located in the center of the facade. Adding to the symmetry of the design are large cottage windows flanking the portico. Unaltered, the building appears to be in fairly good condition. RESEARCH NOTES : This tract (No. 1965; Eymann Place) was subdivided in 1926. Immediately thereafter Ernest and Dora Flintoff purchased this lot. The first improvement assessment appeared in 1927. Flintoff was a machinist.
