Description
Another of the many small Craftsman bungalows built in Upland, this one-story dwelling is asymmetrically massed under two lowpitched front gables. The smaller gable crowns an open porch and features vertical slats in its face. Tripled posts support the gable. Projecting eaves and exposed rafters are used throughout the roof treatment. The porch contains the entrance and a window. Next to the porch a similarly proportioned window pierces the facade. The clapboarded bungalow is intact and in fairly good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: Vernon R. Isam, a truck driver, and his wife Elayne were the owners of this property in 1924, the year of first assessed improvement.
