Description
This simply detailed Craftsman bungalow is sheathed in narrow clapboard. A low-pitched gabled roof faces the street. Posts support a smaller gable topping a oentral projecting porch. Vertical slats form vents in the peaks of both gables. Fenestration is symmetrically arranged with a central door separating two one-over-one double-hung sash windows. The bungalow appears to be intact and in good condition. RESEARCH MOTES: Howard and Rose Allen were the first owners of this house, built in 1923-24. Allen was a driver with the Upland Transfer Company.
