Description
A solid cobblestone porch wall with a jagged upper edge adds a dramatic note to this one-story Craftsman bungalow. The porch is recessed across the facade which is capped by a front gable. Medium clapboard covers the structure and vertical latticework fills the gable peak. Paired wood posts resting on stone pedestals mark the outer corners of the porch while single posts frame the entrance to the porch. Extended lintels top the central door and the double-hung sash windows to either side. The structure is intact and in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: Charles and Jessie Bell had this house built in 1916-17, according to the assessment record. Bell was associated with Snider and Bell.
