Description
The facade of this one-story English bungalow is organized into three bays. The north bay is capped by a projecting, front gable and is occupied by an arched window centered under an arched vent. The south bay is also capped by a projecting, but slightly smaller, front gable and contains a pair of casement windows centered under another arched vent. Recessed between the two, the central bay is marked by a gentle arch in the roof and is occupied by a multipaned casement. Stucco walls define a small patio in front of it. The main portion of the stuccoed dwelling, to the rear, is covered by a medium pitched gabled roof set parallel to the street. The bungalow is intact and in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: One of the newer houses in the district, this bungalow was built in 1938-39. Its first owners were Marvin and Harriet Francisco. Francisco was a foreman with C.S.D.
