Description
This one-story residence is a typical example of a small Craftsman bungalow. The main portion of the bungalow is covered by a moderately pitched, front gabled roof. Tapered wood posts carry a cross beam which in turn supports a smaller gable projecting over an open porch off-set to the north. Both gables feature extended eaves and exposed rafters. Except for the vertical slats in the gable face, the bungalow is sheathed with clapboard and edged with endboards. The fenestration is composed of a door centered below the porch gable and a large tripartite window to the south. The bungalow is apparently unaltered and in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: According to the assessment record, this bungalow was constructed in 1922-23 when the owners were A. Byron Russell and Avice S. Russell.
