Description
A cross-gabled roof with extended eaves and exposed rafters crowns this one-story Craftsman bungalow. The side gable shelters the dwelling while the front-facing gable extends over a porch at the north end of the facade, Wood piers resting on cobblestone pedestals define the porch, which is elevated two steps. Sheathed in clapboard, the bungalow sits on a stone foundation, A vent with vertical stick work pierces the frontfacing gable. The rest of the fenestration is asymmetrically arranged with an off-centered paneled door in the porch and windows to each side. Both the door and the windows have been replaced. The bungalow and in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: E.E. and Hannah Goder were the first owners of this bungalow, built in 1922.
