Description
Carefully trimmed plantings provide a background for this oneand- one-half story bungalow. A bellcast side gable caps the structure. Centered over the facade, a large, front-gabled dormer contains a pair of double-hung sash windows. Roof details include exposed rafters and slightly extended bargeboards. A porch is recessed across the facade, defined by broadly arched beams resting on stout stucco piers at each end of the space. Broken for a central entry, a low stucco wall encloses the space. The central door is flanked by broad window openings which appear to have been re-glazed. Clapboarded, the building is in good condition and otherwise unaltered. RESEARCH NOTES: Harry and Evelyn Dilts were the owners of the improvement assessed on this lot for the first time in 1923. Dilts was a carpenter.
