Description
This simple bungalow is influenced by the Colonial style. It is one-story, side-gabled, and sheathed in clapboard. A recessed porch spans the facade, left open except for paired columns at either end. The fenestration is symmetrical and includes a central glazed entry flanked by broad window openings. In good condition, the bungalow is largely unaltered. RESEARCH NOTES: Chester A. Decker, a foreman with the Upland Citrus Association, and his wife Lorena were the first owner/residents of this house. It was built in 1923-24.
