Description
The branches of two palm trees in the parkway form a frame for this one-story Craftsman bungalow. Massed beneath a side gable roof, it has been altered by a screen and lattice enclosure of the front porch. Recessed across the facade, the porch appears to have been defined by a low wall and wood posts. A central doorway and double-hung sash windows are faintly visible within the shadowed space. Sided with clapboard, the bungalow is in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: The Sanborn maps place construction of this house between 1912 and 1928, when the footprint of "666" appeared on a double lot. Some long-time residents remember Ed Eymann, whose family was in the lumber business, living in this house in the 1920s.
