Description
This one-story clapboarded bungalow merges Craftsman era and earlier characteristics. Erected on a cobblestone foundation, the structure is capped by a front gabled roof. A pent roof projects over an attached front porch. Slender wood posts with decorative brackets and open stick railing enclose the space. Molded lintels top the off-centered door and one-over-one doublehung sash windows to either side of it. A pair of tiny, latticed vents pierce the gable face. The bungalow is largely intact and in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: In 1919 the first improvement assessment on this property was recorded, belying the somewhat earlier characteristics of the design. Elizabeth Watson was the owner at the time. Subsequent owners included Kyle Bussy (1921), A.J. Linkey (1922), and John Burton (1923).
