Description
Another of the many mall Craftsman bungalows built in Upland, this one-story dwelling is asymmetrically massed under two gables set perpendicular to the street. The smaller gable crowns an open porch. Both gables feature vertical slatting in their peaks far venting. Rafters and beams are exposed in the eaves. The porch, framed by wood posts, contains the entrance and a doublehung sash window. Next to the porch, a similar window pierces the Facade. The well-maintained front yard is separated from the sidewalk by a cobblestone retaining Wall. The clapboarded bungalow is intact and in good condition. Anna J. Gengras was the owner of this property in 1924, the year an improvement was first assessed.
