Description
The simplified Craftsman detailing of the 1920s combines with the symmetrical arrangement of the American Colonial Revival to characterize this one-story bungalow. Erected on a cobblestone foundation, the bungalow is sheathed with clapboard and covered by a side gable roof. Posts with molded "capitals" support a front gable which projects over a centrally located porch. Extended eaves, exposed rafters and plain bargeboards typify the roof treatment. Tripartite windows with headers are located in the side bays of this three-bay facade. Apparently unaltered, the bungalow is in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES : George and Minnie Bailey added a $600 improvement to this lot in 1925-26. Bailey was in awnings, according to the 1926 directory.
