Description
This one-story ~panish bungalow is dominated by a large, flattened arch which frames a porch centered on the facade. Both the roofline of the arcade and of the house behind it are characterized by stepped parapets. A tiled hood tops a porte cochere arch to the left (west) of the porch and a tripartite window to the right. Another tripartite window of a larger dimension and the front door are sheltered within the porch. Apparently unaltered, this stuccoed bungalow is in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: James and Hester Ford may have built this house in 1925 following a lot split. They were assessed for an $1125 improvement in 1926. the directories show the Fords living at 280 W. 10th in 1928, a likely Ontario address for the property.
