Description
A moderately steeply pitched gable roof set parallel to the street covers this two-story Craftsman residence. The roof is dominated by a large central gabled dormer which is banded by narrowly proportioned double-hung sash windows. Extended eaves and carved rafters further detail the roofline. A porch is recessed within the southern two-thirds of the facade. Cobblestone is employed for the porch wall and steps and faces the front of the structure below a continuous sill. The rest of the building is sheathed with narrow clapboard. Largely unaltered, the bungalow is in fairly good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: The first assessed improvement on this lot was $600 in 1915, when the property was owned by Annie Youngstrom.
