Description
Remnants of the Victorian era characterize the design of this Queen Anne/Eastlake influenced, turn-of-the-century dwelling. One-story, it is sheathed in narrow clapboards finished with endboards and is topped by a hipped roof. The roof is extended at a lower pitch to cover an L-shaped porch on the southwest. A front gable, faced with shingles and ornamented by a collar beam and spindlework, caps the north bay of the facade. Enclosed by a waist-level, clapboarded wall punctuated by turned wood columns, the porch contains a three sided bay which wraps the corner of the building and two entries, one on the west elevation, the other on the south. Scrolled brackets further adorn the porch. The house sits on a stone foundation, is unaltered, and in good condition.
