Description
A cross-gabled roof crowns this one-story Craftsman bungalow. The side gable covers the main volume of the dwelling, while the front gable tops the full front porch. Gables feature unusual venting, a section of vertical boards punctuated with diamondshaped cutouts in the faces, as well as extended eaves and beams. Wood posts and a combination clapboarded wall and a stick balustrade define the porch. An off-centered door opens onto the porch. Pairs of double-hung sash windows are located to either side of the entry. Sheathed in clapboard and set on a cobblestone foundation, the bungalow appears unaltered and in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: According to the Sanborn maps, this bungalow was built between 1907 and 1912.
