Description
This simple, turn-of-the-century residence is one-story, hiproofed, and clapboard sided. Boxed eaves encircle the structure. Posts separate three bays in the porch which is recessed across the facade. The central bay is,emphasized by a front gabled dormer occupied by a vent. Enclosed by a low, clapboarded wall, the porch contains an offset entry flanked by double-hung sash windows. Other than the door and possibly the porch supports, the cottage appears largely unaltered. It is in good condition and enhanced by landscaping. RESEARCH NOTES: On the basis of style, it is estimated that this house was built circa 1905.
