Description
This one-story English Revival bungalow incorporates the halftimbering of the Tudor era into its design. The side gabled roof is punctuated by an offset gablet, a chimney, and a pair of front gables with decoratively half-timbered and vented faces. Below the front gables, multi-paned casements combined with fixed pane windows fill the side bays. A recessed porch in the center also contains casements, as well as the entry. Apparently unaltered, this stuccoed bungalow is in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: Francis and Janet Rogers acquired this property in 1926. In 1927 a $1150 improvement was assessed. The 1928 directory lists them at this address; Francis was associated with Hayman and Rogers.
