Description
This one-and-one-half-story clapboarded bungalow uses a simple Craftsman vocabulary. A side gabled roof with a gabled dormer offset to the south tops the main portion of the dwelling. A front facing gabled roof extends over a porch along the north half of the facade. Overhanging eaves, exposed rafters, protruding purlins and vertical boards in the gable peaks characterize the roof treatment. The porch roof is supported by battered wood posts resting on cobblestone pedestals. A short flight of concrete steps with cobblestone rails leads to the porch, which is enclosed by a clapboarded balustrade. Fenestration is asymmetrically arranged with a typical Craftsman door and a one-over-one double-hung sash window under the porch roof, a similar window to the south, and a pair of windows in the dormer. Unaltered, the bungalow is in good condition.
