Description
Relatively steep gables keynote the design of this simple, onestory, stuccoed English bungalow. Its three bay, asymmetrical facade consists of a central entrance recessed behind an archway, an arched Palladian window in the north and a flat-headed tripartite window in the south. The central and northern bay, are topped by front-facing gables. A stuccoed chimney rises above the south elevation to provide a corresponding vertical accent. The roof has been re-roofed with asbestos shingles. Set on a slightly elevated lot bordered by a low cement retaining wall, the house appears unaltered and in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: Edward Kermott constructed this bungalow in 1925. He was in residence at this address with his wife Mary according to the 1926 directory.
