Description
Late Colonial Revival influences govern the design of this onestory residence. The shingled structure is capped by a side gable roof. Slender columns arch over a central entry, accessed by a pair of brick stairs. Multi-light sash to either side are flanked by shutters. Simple and regular in its appearance, the house appears to be unaltered. It is in good condition. RESE2lRCH NOTES : Although this house does not contribute historically to the Euclid streetscape, it does maintain the scale, materials and revival styling that characterized the development of the street in the twenties and thirties. It is evidence of an emerging dichotomy in American domestic architecture in the post-war years when the urge to be modern had not yet overcome the preference for tradition in home building. According to the assessment record this home was built in 1942-43.
