Description
Stucco siding and an L-shaped gable roof characterize this onestory, English influenced residence. A front gable of fairly steep pitch caps the northern portion of the facade. A porch is recessed beneath it, behind a flattened archway. The gable curves outward over another opening, a round-headed archway at the north end of the facade. A pair of casements and a glazed door open off the shallow porch. Tripartite windows occupy the south, side-gabled wing. Muntins outline the lack of the sash. The house appears to be unaltered and in good conditions. RESEARCH NOTES: William and Alice Kitchell were the owners of this lot when the assessment for an improvement was recorded in 1929. Kitchell, like many of his neighbors, was a rancher.
