Description
This one-story bungalow is compatible with its neighbors in terms of scale and roof configuration, but its stylistic impulses have been reduced to a few essentials. It is side gabled, with a brick chimney anchoring the north end. Wide horizontal siding sheathes the structure. The entry, offset to the north, is announced by a segmental arch hood resting on two brackets. Four brick steps lead to the door. Two broadly proportioned windows are located to the south of the entry and another is on the north; all appear to have been re-glazed. Framed by a pair of palms, the house is in fairly good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: Although this corner was improved at least by 1912, the present building would appear to be from the 1920s. It appears on the 1928 Sanborn.
