Description
Below a front gabled roof, this one-story Craftsman bungalow is clad with vertical boards. Elephantine posts on concrete pedestals support another, slightly smaller gable which covers an offset projecting porch. The gable ends are characterized by crossbeams, protruding purlins, extended eaves, and exposed rafters. A door and a fixed sash window with a multi-paned header overlook the porch. The bungalow appears unaltered except for the siding and is in good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: This house was built in 1916-17 by Earl and Edna Swan, who moved there upon its completion, judging by the city directories. Earl Swan was a photographer.
