Description

This pair of late Craftsman cottage are extremely simple in design. Identical, each has a front gable, slightly clipped, medium clapboard siding, and a central entry flanked by single windows. Details include exposed rafters, vents in the gable ends, and a decorative muntin pattern in the windows. Aluminum awnings and metal braces are alterations. The houses are in fairly good condition. RESEARCH NOTES: These cottages were built on the rear of the property occupied by 110 East F, at the corner of First. Apparently the lot split and construction occurred sometime in the early 1920s. The houses were in place by the time the 1928 Sanborn was published.
